    Default Inconsistancy in moderation/infraction dispute.

It's never enforced the same way, even with the new "lounge guidelines". Some things are apparently a no-no, while seemingly worse things are A-Okay.

I'd like to dispute an infraction I've received from something I posted in the lounge.

My response to someone claiming to have posted nude pictures of themselves was a de-motivational picture with the caption: "Hey emo kid, hurry up and do it already." Demotivational posters are NOT supposed to be motivational... Hence the name.

If what I posted is infraction worthy, why do moderators turn a blind eye to most of the other offensive stuff posted in the lounge?

So if anyone has to stomach/balls to look at the horrifyingly offensive photo below, can you tell me what you think about the infraction?

Warning: Over-sensitive people incapable of not taking a joke seriously may be offended by this picture. I'm linking this photo so that no one throws a hissy fit after seeing it.

50% of the responses in this thread are direct insults to a member of the forums. http://www.onrpg.com/boards/186398.html

The overall responses in that thread were not troll responses. Obviously the OP was trolling and as such was temp banned for it but it wasnt really the picture that got you infracted. It was just that you responded to a troll post with a troll post and furthered the thread in that direction (feeding the fire with fire if you will).

As for "blind eyes" to other threads. If you feel like a particularly troublesome post has gone unnoticed by a mod feel free to report it so it can be brought to our attention and dealt with.

Ozz has posted 100s of threads just like the one I got an infraction for posting in. Half the community/mods think he isn't a troll, lots have expressed this openly. My post was the only one deleted... The reason for the infraction was "trolling". Am I trolling because I responded to one of ozz's signature threads? Im not the first and only one to post in those.

This is the thread. It's not locked. People kept posting after my post was deleted. So... Everyone who posted in this thread are also responsible for feeding the fire? http://www.onrpg.com/boards/186559.html

A moderator made a thread called "Nude pics." So is ozz's thread really considered trolling? http://www.onrpg.com/boards/145323.html

He posted a spammy thread in the area of the forum dedicated to spam. Did he actually post nudes or is there something else I'm not seeing?

So you yourself agree the photo isn't offensive material for the lounge, and anyone who has looked in the you laugh you lose thread knows there is worse things in there. So why exactly did I get an infraction again?

This doesn't seem right. Can someone explain?

They all did exactly what I did, so why did I get an infraction?
