Played the entire stress test.

Honestly, other then some issues with character creation and entering PVP for the first hour or so, I found everything to be running smoothly.

Well, smoothly as far as betas go of course.

The only major issue was personal story instances not working.

got back from work, got on gw2 respecced my warrior, hitting for 10k crits. op.

Still have 21,000 hp also.

Is it just me or was it the lag? I was finding it hard to maneuver with right click while in combat. Every time I tried clicking it and holding it down to turn or move the arrow was still showing it and delayed a lot. I'm hoping it was the lag and if not that they are aware of something like this.

naw thats all lag especially if u are talking about the stress test yesterday.

I only experienced skill lag during the stress test which was really annoying when fighting the shadow behemoth.

I actually went up against that event shaman boss, the only time the melees died often was when people decided to AoE the shaman with his shield up.



Also: Pro tip for fighting shaman, drag him into the lake. That way his allies won't spawn and people won't be forced to clutter around him.


Also, having a elementalist with ice bow works very well.


On another note, did anyone else find it much easier to play with friends this time?

Had problems with the party system and whispering. Kept saying my friend was ins party when he wasn't, and couldn't whisper him, saying he was unavailable when he was right on front of me. Didn't have that the first beta weekend though. I'm guessing the client was the same build? Cause performance was still pretty bad, I rolled a Charr Ele, and it chugged even with on all low and full screen 1280x800. Could just be the area.. The human and born lands weren't as demanding.

i find the charr area lags a bit more then norn and last would be human imo.
