Neighborhood Watch Meeting. (After first two murders.)
Jessica Moore stood at the head of the group, nervously twitching about. With the recent happenings in place she had become much more withdrawn. "Now, settle down!" She pleaded the other adults, smiling gently at the children.
"We're here to discuss the recent odd behaviour around her at night. Its come to my attention that theres been something - or rather someone - walking around in the dead of night. I want to remind you all there is a curfew do to the recent murder. And I encourage you to stay indoors until police say its safe."
The meeting comes to a close all too soon, leaving Jessica Moore to walk home alone. Although its not far, fear creeps up her spine. She can feel something watching her, and knew all at once she was in danger. At fifty seven Jessica was surprisingly in shape, she blamed it on years of track. Whatever it was didn't let her get far though, and soon, Jessica too would join the dead.
But the kill never happened. Somehow with a blank memory Jessica awoke the next morning safe and sound in her bed, with only a bite mark to remind her of the night before.
(Werewolf case - Wichita.)
Werewolves are humans that transform into wolf-like creatures under the influence of a full moon. The infection and resultant affliction is commonly referred to as lycanthropy. When they are in wolf-form, they appear human except for their yellow eyes, fangs, and claws, and they use their superior abilities and enhanced senses to hunt humans and eat their hearts. They do not remember transforming or any of the details of what they've done as a werewolf once they return to human form, but it seems that whatever subconscious desires or fears they feel during the day translate into action when they are werewolves. The only way to kill them is peirce their hearts with Silver.
