World of Warcraft End Game?

So I have been playing World of Warcraft on and off for over a month(Also still looking for another MMORPG to play) and I was just wondering if anyone who has gotten to the end game to tell me if its worth it or not. The reason I am asking is because I hear its just alot of repetitive raids, instances, and battlegrounds to get decent gear. So I just wanted someone who has experienced the end game to share their opinion.

I have played world of warcraft for 3 years.. And yes now i think the game is just repetetive and stuff, and just a waste of money"!.. But it's all up to you. I really loved the game in the beginning.. Even tho i liked to lvl new alts all the time, thats why my account have 4 80's and 1 lvl 71 and some lvl 20+

I know alot of MMORPGs require alot of work to get good gear when you hit max level but I have heard its just alot of more repetitive in WoW then in most MMORPGs, and that gear makes an extremely huge difference in WoW then in most games.
