    Default New Forum section (LFP)

    Hi mmohut, ****, and admins..
I noticed that alot of people are looking for other people to play with, including myself.
Either start a new fresh game or invite to their own game.
I was wondering if we can make an extra special place for these requests
ie. "I am looking for a group to play with", "Anyone wanna start Allods online with me?"
If it's not something reasonable it's fine :P
    Thanks for your time!

Not really needed, the request section only gets very few of those posts, maybe once a week or two so just keeping them in there is fine imo.

    No, I think he's right.
Another section for recruitments would be nice, since I too, do see a lot of threads looking for people to 'play with' so that it makes MMO's more exciting to play.

This was discussed a while ago and we decided that such posts should just be posted in MMORPG Requests
If games are no-lifers, then are non-gamers yes-lifers?

Those requests are annoying, though. It never works out finding friends to play with on a forum anyway.

Perhaps they could create an 'Annoying Posts' section then. (besides the Shameless Promotion) ^___^

Nah, that's just shifting the problem. The issue lies within' people hopping games all the time that they can't stick to one. Perhaps a MMO-Hopping Therapy section, and every day at noon we do yoga.

Sorry if you didn't pick up my sarcasm in the previous statement. :P

I suggested it before too, but it would be to much of a mess apperently. Like Karu said, people hop constantly and get spoiled with it, because of the wide variaty of F2P games. I did a couple of guild rolls before I was mod but they ended like 2 days after or at least a week, because people got tired of the game. Just post a LFG on the Request topic & you'll be fine. Add players who would like to join to your messenger.

Instead of asking on forums ask the friend you already know for longer. With those you know that they won't just disappear on you. Don't have any friends? Get some! Friends are never bad. You can find friends everywhere. But only every 10th friend will be be a suitable gaming partner.

Alternatively just find friends INSIDE the MMORPG you are playing. It's not that hard. Just to some smalltalk with the people in the town and you can get random internet friends like crazy.

Yep people should just add each other on skype/xfire/msn/whatever and then actually decide on a game, all these threads ''choose out of 5 games to play together etc.'' never end well cause not everyone gets their first choice, so one guy will quit then next will follow him in a week and tada you have another thread ''halp find gamin friend or something''.
