    Default good genesis games?

As some of you may know I collect retro game stuff. I never had a sega system growing up so I wasn't so interested. But I just found a genesis with 32x attachment for $10 today.

I know about sonic and altered beast and toejam and earl and ecco the dolphin.

    What suggestions you got?

    RPGs / SRPGs:

    Phantasy Star II
    Phantasy Star III
    Phantasy Star IV
    Shining Force
    Shining Force 2
Shining in the Darkness (JP version is called "Shining and the Darkness")
Wonder Boy In Monster World (JP - Wonder Boy V: Monster World III)
Monster World IV (the original Genesis version is not available in English, only the remakes are)

    Other:

    Sonic II
Sonic III & Knuckles (you need to combine both games to get the good one)
    Thunder Force III
    Thunder Force IV

I don't really like them but they are quite known as great Genesis classics:

    Kid Chameleon
    Landstalker
    Out Run
    Columns
    Sonic Spinball
    Sword of Vermillion

    All the sonic games
    Comix Zone
    Collums
Knuckles Chaotix since you have the attachment.

Some of the games the last two mentioned aren't Genesis/Sega exclusive by the way and the SNES/PC versions often tend to be cheaper, so be careful.

I always cross reference my games. Generally if i can get it snes I go with that. Unless its a series and I already have 1 of them for sega. (Earthworm Jim so far)

Are you just getting them for your collection or also playing them? I might join in as I'm a big Genesis fan.
