Ragnarok online, 8 years.
Still playing on and off.
Ragnarok online, 8 years.
Still playing on and off.
I played Ragnarok online for 7 years and eve online for 5 years.
And why I played them well cuz they both are fun and never bored me to death like todays new mmo games tend to do. I also play eve cuz im always liked sci-fi.
Runescape for 2 years, daily. Then next in line will be Minecraft which I got over a year ago and play daily for hours.
MapleStory from OBT 2005. I played nearly on a daily basis until 2008, then had a few-months-long spree in 2009, then a few days from 2010 to now. If you count all that time it's been 7 years. I had a blast actually exploring up until 2007 or so, at which point it was really just my guild that kept me sane for another year.
S4 League, from 2008 Korean OBT (or CBT? I forget) to now. I used to play competitively in 2011, but have since lost interest since the competitive scene died and updates have been making the game worse. I "quit" before 2011 ended, but I play every now and then. Game had a lot of charm and balance in its earlier stages, then imbalance problems and a worsening community drove me off.
RuneScape was the shortest, 2003 to 2005 or so. Played with friends from middle school, was fun since I basically sucked at video games and I found the quests really interesting (Still do; RuneScape has one of the best quest systems I've ever seen in an MMO, even to this day). I stopped in favor of MapleStory in 2005.
I guess I've technically been playing TF2 for four years also, but I don't play it regularly. I think I've lost interest in MMORPGs (If GW2 delivers, I'll eat my words) and my tastes have drawn me to more competitive games. I tried StarCraft II and made it to Gold, possibility of me coming back in the future since I still really enjoy watching SC2 casts. I took up LoL this year too, and though I don't play regularly at all (I think it's been a month) I feel like I'm gaining a good understanding of the meta by watching casts and watching my friends play. Once I have more time on my hands though I'd really like to get into one of those game's competitive scene.

Either Ragnarok Online or WoW during BC/early wotlk
RO because it was fun pserver hopping with irl friends, and it was also my first mmorpg i think.(either that or pristontale)
My experience with WoW is just unexplainable. I spent every waking moment on that game, and I would never be bored. If I ever got tired of one character I wouldn't hesitate to make another. I still get chills everytime I play songs that I would listen to while I was leveling up my characters. Though as someone already said I had to force myself to quit because it was seriously holding me back. Haven't been able to truly enjoy another mmorpg since...
wow 6 years, friends were playing it and the gae is fun when you have friends playing it with you.
Played WoW and Maplestory since they both came out and still keep up and play every now and then for both games. Spent a good thousand or few hundred on both games for Cash Shop for maplestory and subscription fees and expansions all these years.
Give & Take
World Of Warcraft ... still the only best mmo out there ... and still the only thing that keeps me interested ... Why? Because of its simpleness and sometimes intense and interesting dungeons Armors ... Monsters and bosses look awesome no matter how old the game gets ... Zones are wide and looks great and hey its 7 year old game ...
If your talking about everyday, and not just here and there.
Then mine would be Conquer Online for around 5 - 6 Years.
I just generally enjoyed the PvP there, actually took some skill at least in the first 1 - 2 years of CO it did, had lots of good friends so i stuck around.
League of Legends US - IGN ForceModified
Steam - mystryx1
All you do is go and 1 click a button and click again to kill the mob, it's pointless. go play a fast paced action game like C9, or RYL2, ROW and then come back and see how such a crappy game you're really playing.
I still play Pangya on/off after 7 years.
Same with PSOBB.
The longest time I have played a game? I wouldn't know... But the game I have played the most must be either GTA SA or in other words SA-MP or Counter Strike 1.6 whit a lot of breaks in between...I would guess it is CS, because I am playing it since I was 11 now I am 20 well over 9 Years lol those breaks give you a tough love with your skill...Started CS again few days back I suck man! Only this year that I bought it on steam lol...
P.S. I have no idea why I guess friends the VOICE chat omg I love voice chat so fun to play games with them and I guess same reason for SA-MP in ventrillo to yell at eachother while roleplaying street racers and running from cops oh yeah, those were the times... True I am still the best racer in SA... xD
Oh yea Gran Turismo aswell is the game I love a since the Multiplayer in other words GT5...I don't know I kinda like racing it's fun...

I jump around between games constantly (one day I'm hooked on Dungeon Fighter Online, the next I'm playing Maplestory, then Team Fortress 2, etc). However, I most consistently find myself back to play Maplestory the most often (probably because it's the first decent game I've played).
Started Graal online in about 2000. While I don't really play it anymore, I still develop for them and use the forums frequently :3
working on it.... ^^
Runescape for longest account. I made my account around 9 years ago and played it for a couple of years, then on and off for a few weeks/months a year until now. Longest in-game time would be the call of duty franchise (I count the franchise as a single game, as they are all so similar on the face of it (They are insanely different when you actually play them)).
The past 2 years I haven't played anything consistently though. Tried a little bit of everything and nothing has stuck. Wow for 3-4 weeks, Diablo 3 for ~ a week. Other random games - 2-3 different games per week. Currently playing DayZ for a couple of weeks pretty solid, although I can see the end of that coming very soon too, due to lack of end-game content. (You can only hunt players for their beans for so long). Next game? Who knows. Guild Wars 2 will hopefully hold my attention for another couple of weeks once it comes out.
