I'm looking for new games every day, but no luck. They're either boring to me or requiring too high specs. Anyway, I was wondering if anyone can tell me of some games like these:
1. A dueling MMO (turn based).
2. A roleplay-like MMO. You know, a realistic game where you can get cars, house, join factions, etc.
3. Just some cool games with low system requirements.
Not sure if browser based games are your thing or not, but there's a game called "Epic Duels" where you just fight other players. It's not the greatest game, but it's a fun time waster involving duels.
As for roleplay mmo, I'd try face of mankind. I haven't played it, but from what I've heard it's the best when it comes to roleplaying. Everything there is run by players. If not, try Eve online or Second Life.
Cool games with low requirements...hmm. Try looking for some older mmos, although most mmo's have low requirements (apart from some very new ones) as they have to appeal/be available to as large a market as possible. Even WoW runs on pretty old computers still. If you haven't played it, you could try Runescape. Some people hate it, some people love it...if you've never played it before though, you will probably enjoy it. Most people only dislike it because it isn't the same as it used to be. (Doesn't necessarily mean bad, just not what they signed up for.)
In the case of a turn based mmo, you also have Atlantica online, your team consists of you and 8 mercenaries (by level 55 or so) it isn't that bad of a game, I've enjoyed it heavily, but beware it becomes more p2w based around level 110 or so, but that is only in the huge pvp brackets something like Division 1-2 and the championships and all that.
You also have Wonderland online. I didn't play it nearly as much as Atlantica but it was interesting for what it was. I don't really know how to describe the classes, if there even were classes, more just characters and you selected the type of element they specialized in, I didn't really get far enough to do much, but this one is a turn based in a far more classic sense than Atlantica so I thought I would throw it out there.
turn-based i did read that Atlantica is really good.
for low system spec RvR pvp mmo, I personally recommend u look at Regnum Online (cos its the game i play right now).
It does depend on how low-spec u want it but it only needs a basic Directx v9c video card i think (and maybe a high single cpu Pentium). Why i think its good :-
1) it is almost all RvR pvp and the pvp is balanced
2) u cannot use cash shop to get an overwhelming big advantage in pvp
3) simple responsive gfx
4) low grind.
thats it really.
Be warned - I am a major player of Regnum Online the mmo. I've been playing it for about 2 years and rarely go without logging in at least once a day. You can also look at good alternatives to Regnum such ase Aion online and Aika Online.
