whens the next game con?

So I wanna buy my mom a Wii. She's always wicked cool to me and I want her to be able to use my netflix.

I wanna know about the next game con because I assume that's when the Wii u price will be announced. If its like $250 ill just get that instead. if I buy the Wii now ill be kicking my *** in 2 weeks.

The next big game con is Gamescom in mid August. After that I believe Pax Prime is at the end of August. Not too up to date on the American cons.

OK cool. You think either of them are large enough to have a Wii U price announce? I think PAX is pretty large. I mean, August is really cutting it short considering we don't even know a release date or price point. I want to reserve mine ASAP if I want it.

Gamescom is the biggest gaming convention in Europe. Make of that what you will. Seems a bit early for a price though.

Still seems a bit early to me. But I just read that Nintendo isn't attending Gamescom. So Pax is your next hope. Or they may just release the info.

Reviving this to give a bit of an update. Back from Gamescom. It was great, no WiiU, but we knew this. However there was just an announcement that some press have been invited to attend a WiiU press event on September 13th. I'll keep you posted on any information I get.
