DDO is an RPG, but it really is exactly what you are looking for otherwise! Group of 5 = perfect for the game, you'll love it! Oh make sure you have 1 cleric and 1 rogue at least and don't take the same class twice.
have you played it? its not even close to wow/L2... maybe it seems like in a video but it isnt...well its like fantasy fps you control character like in fps...if you use bow/crossbow/magic you need to aim too...you cant complete anything with pure fighters party or pure mage party- you just cant complete any higher lvl quest there without at least 1 barbar/rogue/cleric/sorcer... (some doors need INT to be open...some must be destroyed with pure STR and so on...) seriously its a VERY different game... the only thing close to L2 there is..."dark elf" race which isnt even look similar.

If you say it's like WoW/Lineage2, you definately have never played it. It plays completely differently. It's all about solving riddles and puzzles and using your character's unique abilities to beat a dungeon. It even has an awesome narrator. If you play it, your thoughts will be "I've never played an MMO like this".
Unfortunately I'm not familiar with FPS games at all, so I can't really recommend any. Well, I know Counter Strike and that can also be played in a team of 5 people afaik.
