well I noticed quite a few onrpgins are beginning to become more and more active. So I decided to make a thread where you can post what you did that day for a work out. I know some of us are at a higher activity level than others so please try to be nice and respectful, this work both way folks take advice with a grain of salt please.
Old weight: 256lbs (8 month ago)
current weight 220lbs, very active (workout 5 days a week and hike on weekends)
While I am dropping weight slowly it is mostly because I am actually doing it right and I won't have to worry about gaining back 50% or more of what I lost because it was all water weight from a poor dieting pyramid scheme.
I'll start with a little catching up to do.
Monday: 1 hours 2 mins on tread mill walking 3.5 mph at a 7.5 incline
Tuesday: cardio = same as monday, 3 sets of 40 push ups (not sure why I went with 40..just seemed like an okay numbe that day ), 3 sets of weighted sit ups (25lb), 3 sets of 30 lb hammer curls, 3 sets of tricep extensions
Wednesday: 1 hours bike ride around neighbor hood (equals 8.5 miles with plenty of big hills), and a brief 35 min tread mill session at 3.5 mph at 7.5 incline.
I have been on a real cardio heavy workout routine lately mostly because it was a challenge from my bro. He runs marathons and said If I could beat or match his time for this upcomming august 5 mile a thon he would buy the drinks that night..and I was all like challenge accepted, it probably won't happen any ways big guys like me are kinda screwed when it comes to marathons, but we will see maybe I'll show up that little skinny punk.

p.s I also don't due much weight lifting because as for now I am moving people furniture for a living (until some much anticipated paper work finishes up), and well yeah lets just say I have a new found hatred for people with solid oak china cabinets who live on the third floor..
