im really annoyed Assassins Creed is not out on PC - any emulators?

grr.. usually i dont like console games.

i took an interest in Shadow of the Colossus which i can run on a PC with an emulator. this is a really awesome game.

i've been following Assassins Creed a bit and last week my interest in playing a sort of assassiny character going around killing stuff was piqued so I thought i would look this game up. What so good about it anyway???! it doesn't even run on PC

i much prefer to play Thief, Thief 2 or the Hitman series if I wanted to go around assassinating people.
Why do people even think Assassins Creed is any good? there's lots of better games on PC doing the same thing!

I don't like Assassin's Creed though, tbh, and I think the Thief and Hitman series are both much better. Assassin's creed is more of a GTA-style open world game that's good if you like wandering around a big city collecting things, killing people, and jumping off 10 story buildings only to land safely on a conveniently placed pile of hay for the sake of telling physics to **** off.

ya im more keen on thief and hitman. they seem less glitzy and more functional.

There aren't any working PS3/Xbox360 emulators out yet and it probably will take another 5 years at least for a pc to be even possible to run one.

I remember the first Thief game was the shit. During the tutorial you could get in a sword fight with a dude and follow him back into the place he goes and do a funny glitch.

lol, that was were the basketball and hoop were if I remember right. Loved that game. I hope they don't get too flashy with the next thief game, they need to keep it creepy.

Thief was beast. I played that game when I was a kid with a friend.

There is one good thing about Assassin's Creed that I thought was cool. Only in Brotherhood and Revelations though. The multiplayer was a lot of fun and it wasn't like FPS games where people just get super skilled and own you if you don't play as much. It's very unique at least. Other than that I never cared for the games.

Of course if you *cough* the game then you obviously can't play multiplayer.
