So, im looking for any type of Monster taming Mmo.
anything along the lines of T crew or Monster forest Anything like that.
I've tried one of the recent ones cant remember the name tho..
If its still even alive, Wonderland Online had a feature that let you capture pretty much anything as a pet. I think I know of an actual monster taming mmo...I'll get back to you if/when I remember it.
Be warned - I am a major player of Regnum Online the mmo. I've been playing it for about 2 years and rarely go without logging in at least once a day. You can also look at good alternatives to Regnum such ase Aion online and Aika Online.
There's a Digimon MMO. And several pokemon MMOs.
Eudemons Online is all about training, fusing, evolving, and hunting down demons.
Was 100% sure I replied to this..?
How was Spirit Tales? I thought you might like Spiral Knights
Some MMOs that are pet-based are:
Myth War II Online
Please take a look at Insane Aquarium (singleplayer, trial) and Shin Megami Tensei (free-to-play). If anyone is reading, I'd also like to hear people's opinions on Digimon Battle and Nanovor. Are they good?
Doh...How could I forget Shin Megami Tensei: Imagine m-m;
If you've ever played the SMT series, you'll know what its like. If not...
You recruit demons by negotiating with them, once recruited you can summon them to fight (only one demon can be out at a time in the MMO) They level up and what not, not really much to say about that.
The really interesting feature is the fusion system. You fuse demons together to make a new, stronger demon. Based on their type, ie. Fairy+Fairy=Elemental iirc, they will fuse into another demon of a certain family. Newly fused demons inherit some skills from their parent demons.
You can fuse up to 3 demons together.
If I recall correctly, if you want to completely rely on your demon, learning more support oriented abilities/expertise's would probably be for you. Although you can pick any combat style you want and have a competent demon.
There's another new one that's Pokemon-ish.
Called Cyber Monsters.
As you go through with the game... you defeat new monsters along the way and it will say... for example: "You found woodlogger!" if you're lucky...
You then go to some monster book you have, look up this "woodlogger" you found, and "Challenge" it (Which can be pretty hard)
If you challenge a monster from your book and win, you get to summon this monster for a price of gold... gold shouldn't be to hard to find in this game... I've already got 50K just starting.
And of course you can level up these monsters to fight by your side.
So it's a pretty great "Catch these monsters and train them" game.
