Default Getting a new laptop/Would like to try something new.

... something new like an MMORPG that requires a high-end laptop.
I have never been able to play games with high graphics before! So I'd love to try something really beautiful, graphics-wise.
Then again, it doesn't HAVE to be a high-end MMORPG. Just an MMORPG that I can enjoy it's high graphics. Been running a couple of games on low, I'd love to see some beautiful graphics for the first time.

You can name any MMORPGs off of my requirements. I can replay a game over again and enjoy maxing out the graphics and be able to see the high graphics, skills, far view, etc <3

    *Ahem* anyways, my requirements.

    - F2P or P2P MMORPGs (RPGS, no strategy or MOBA and whatnot, just RPGs)
    - If F2P, no overpowered Cash Shops/Don't want to have to buy a crapload and waste my money and can still make it through the game, spending at least a little bit per month is fine.
    - Anime graphics are always really fun to play on. Doesn't have to be though
    - I enjoy Fantasy RPGs
    - I want to see a great community and a big population.
    - I love to be able to group up and make new friends. I don't like to solo
    - Not a big fan of PvP. I'm so much more into PvE. But PvP's like Guild vs Guild/Realm vs Realm, Castle Sieges, things like that are fun every once in awhile.
    - I'm huge on instances and raids. And since I'm getting a new laptop, I'd love to do some raids for the first time!
    - I love to have a couple/marriage system. But that's just optional.
    - Achievements/Titles are fun to have
    - As you know already, would love to see beautiful graphics for the first time.

I don't know much more for requirements.
But, if this list gives me a huge list of MMORPGs, name them all! ^_^
Thanks for taking the time to read, and reply!

Why? Is Regnum anime style and PVE focused? =p

Well if you want graphics that make you go "Wow" I'd say Aion, because it's not only high quality but the design is really colourful / beautiful. But that's pretty PVP heavy. On the other hand, if you play on NA there is now a channel without PVP.

The Secret World also looks pretty amazing, but it has more the horror scenery, but also very detailled. TSW is perfect for solo PVE play with a bunch of group instances and optional PVP. The only thing it doesn't have what you want is anime graphics / fantasy setting.

Honestly anime graphics aren't very graphically demanding in the first place. =p
The only anime MMORPG that requires a good computer I know is Dragon Nest, which might also be something for you, as it fulfills most requirements.
I think you'd also like Lime Odyssey but that game isn't ready yet.
Also look out for Phantasy Star Online 2! :-)

In the P2P universe there is probably more stuff for you, knowing you I think you'd might like FFXI and FFXIV as well as Tera. And maybe even Rift.

Edit: Oh and I totally forgot about Dragonica. That would also be something for you. :-)

lol yea i think iAddision is more after a well rounded PvE/raiding/social mmo. Regnum is all blood and guts pvp ^^
Be warned - I am a major player of Regnum Online the mmo. I've been playing it for about 2 years and rarely go without logging in at least once a day. You can also look at good alternatives to Regnum such ase Aion online and Aika Online.

Please let me know if double posting isn't allowed here, then I won't do it a 2nd time ever.
I thought I'd make a post again so people would know I've said something else?

Anyways, I'm definitely looking at Aion.
The PvP there sounds really fun, the Abyss or something, I'd love to try that out.
And being able to fly... and I'm sure the High Graphics make the game gorgeous...
So I'm going to give that a try as well.. but the reason for my posting is, anyone have any opinions about Aion?

im a bit bored so ill post. ive only watched youtube videos of Aion Online.
From those this much i can say :-

    1) Top notch artwork. Aion is front line art work as good as top line titles like Perfect World. Same high detail as tera but I prefer Aion artwork to Tera.

    2) Aion is a game you can invest a lot of time and friendships in and probably never reach max level (grindy, lots of content).

    3) Flying is a blast. I wish I could fly in my mmo. Fly for fun is the other flying mmo but its gfx will not be as good as Aion now.

    4) Otherwise than that ive heard that Aion is a little bit biased on cash shop but i cant recall quite how. Maybe someone else can help explain.

ps - yes ive seen PSO2, that is going to be an amazing PSO game (based on PSO universe/gameplay, which i personally find boring). incredible gfx, truly spectacular.

    oooo thanks for the reply!!
I'm definitely going to give Aion a try. And if I DO invest a lot of time into this game and form many friendships, Aion could be the first MMORPG I've stuck to for... 6+ Months xP (Never stuck to an MMO for more than a month, except maybe Fiesta Online before drama started brewing. And I hate drama so I quitted )

PSO2 really does look amazing.. I've played the gamecube version of Phantasy Star Online and thought it was fun for a little.
But, still can't wait for PSO2!
