i played trickster a bit. i only got to level 60 with my horned warrior. the last map i played at was the school with ghosts? haha. anyway, it was 2006 when i played it so my memory is a bit fuzzy
all i remember was drilling, drilling some more, slaying seals and hoppers, then more drilling, and drill till i fell asleep and i remember something about a potato. i only played it because i got tired of playing RO that time. lol.

oh it changed so much since 2006 lol the game had multiple revamps letting u quest all the way to level 240ish, it has actualy more content/things to do then RO. thats why i dont get why RO is still standing while trickster is shutting down. i guess its the pay2win aspect that scared people away

Good game. Lots of content. They'll probably relicense it to another publisher. These are the guys who ported Pangya to the Wii. Maybe Trickster's getting ported to the Wii U... Abhorsen, I am so sorry.

Wow that was surprising I honestly felt that was one game that could last forever seeing it had a pretty solid community and fan base to last this long.

Always sad to see a good game go even if I didn't like it much I know lenty of people did.

    Sorry for your lose abhorsen.

There have been so many MMORPG closures lately, but this is the first one I'm surprised about. Trickster was doing really well, I wouldn't say it's better than RO1 (Trickster has lokal instant monster respawn, that kinda killed it for me), but it was certainly one of the big classics.

I thought this game was going well.

I only never played this game because I hate games with too much levels (99 is a perfect places, 150+ is just annoying.)

Rya is right it was one of the bigger classics that will be remembered.

Well out of all the mmo's passing through this one closing is actually surprising.
I wonder what's the reasoning for it..

    What the hell?

    Seriously?

How is that possible, low playerbase can definitely not be the cause.

There's even some Pangya items, I got the ones from based off the blue girl when they gave out cash shop points somehow, I don't think I ever got high enough to wear them though.

It really sucks when a MMORPG shuts down, unlike a singleplayer game which you can just play anytime you want, a MMORPG will be gone forever.

As good as the game itself was, the cash shop was a terrible thing.

Oh man, Domo went as well without me noticing?

Granted I didn't play it that much but I still had a lot of fun with it.

Last June or July Im pretty sure. Aeria really didnt make a very big deal about it. Went to the site one day to re-download and relive some memories and the site was just gone. Had to dig to even find out what happened. Lack of content from the developers and all that good stuff.

For once this actually is something I find quite shocking. I could have sworn it was doing well and honestly I very rarely heard negative opinions on this game.
