How harsh are the limitations for free players in Dark Ages?

There's quite a bit you can still do without registering for your character.

-Unlike most games, there is no level cap for free players. You can level all the way to 99 and never pay.

-While some quests may require registration, there are still tons of quests you can do while unregistered.

-Most of the "role play" activities such as religion, politics, and such do require registration.

-Most events require registration to participate in.

-There is some gear that is "too powerful" for you to hold while unregistered (this was implemented to prevent people from scamming on unregistered accounts). However, you will be able to use/hold ALL gear for each class 1-99.

In my opinion, the limitations are rather light in Dark Ages for free to play characters. Most games prevent you from progressing at level 20 or some incredible low level. Dark Ages lets you level all the way to the level cap for free.
