im an extreme mmo hopper i guess.... iv pretty much tried every mm on the market (except muds) til about 2007 when i hit the computer capabilty wall and had to settle for a more constrained share of the market(which iv caught up with by now since i sport an i7 with GTX660Ti now)
the reason why i mostly hop is that many new mmos appear and i want to try them out.... the reason why i abandon games i actually like is the grind/solo wall - meaning you come to a point where a single level takes days to acquire or in some games where you cant proceed since you do not have the gear and you will have to grind below your level to get the neccessary gear to take on stuff on your own level (mostly since the crap aint sold or is non tradeable as it is the case with AO)
i do also hop between mmo just like now i am currently playing
Rohan blood feud for almost a year and then months ago i started
playing RO2 and then when a friend gave me Tera i also tried it and
then someone introduced Dragon Nest and I tried it too i think it's just
normal since even though we are already enjoying a game there are
still times that we get bored and wanted something new
I used to hop between all of the genres until I found a genre I sucked-at and stuck with it!
I started with text-based strategy > 2D shooter > 2D RPG > 3D RPG > 2D strategy > text-based RPG > cardgame > MOBA > Action RPG > MOBA > Action RPG > MOBA > Action RPG > MOBA
... Can you guess where this is going..? Each of those represents a 6-month period of only playing games in that genre.
well, Tera community is dwindling. Flyff and RO2 on the other hand has lots of players. i've been juggling between playing Ragnarok Online 2 and Flyff for the past week. i am having fun on both games are fun i can't decide which one i should stick to.
