i tried it once and it is a very old cel-shaded anime mmorpg that is kinda unique with its ability to fly on hovercrafts, hence the name; fly for fun. I don't play this game anymore and I was wondering if anyone still does, just for fun
last i read on forums was that Fly for Fun was somewhat dominated by high level players and that low level zones were a little empty. However, the endgame in Flyff is reputedly really good and overall it is still an excellent mmo. It's a shame because i really like Flyff and i do not know what could have gone wrong to make it lose a regular stream of new grinders.
It is probably still one of the most unique mmos out. Maybe if they turned the whole game to pvp, eliminated grind and relaunched the game with an updated name, it would get a loyal faction pvp following. Then they shud get costume sales.
Be warned - I am a major player of Regnum Online the mmo. I've been playing it for about 2 years and rarely go without logging in at least once a day. You can also look at good alternatives to Regnum such ase Aion online and Aika Online.
It's a fun game but the economy is really messed up. They tried to fix it at one point but didn't do a good job. There is too much inflation, so they added an auction house system with taxes to take money out of the economy. Guess what, the auction house is not mandatory so people still use player shops that have no taxes...
Not only did the economy get completely shit on by bots over a long period of years but I forget which version update really jacked the game up for a good chunk of the population. I used to play Flyff religiously in High School with some older guys I knew but quit after hitting the level cap because the endgame was just a snoresfest.
