Isn't Netflix the better option? Or did I miss something along the road?
Other than it annoyed me when netflix decided to charge double for a subscription I already had? (splitting disks and streaming)
I really havent looked into it much lately, havn't streamed netflix since they changed their policies, but at that time their options were pretty limited. I did the trial of hulu+ a while back and really liked it, so have kept it. Having recent shows as well as so many of the older seasons are good enough for me.

They have satellite tv and a basic dvd player, and the only computer is dad's work computer and a crappy laptop.
I think the chromecast thing is only like $30 or something, then they could choose what they wanted to put on their tv.
