Default My neck of the woods- The snow

When we get snow, its not really that bad, but it seems like we are getting dumped on pretty good right now. The local news has called our area (Farmington MO) the trouble spot.

I measured the snow in the driveway and its 10 inches right now, and it is still snowing.

If you look in the background of the pic, you can see someone has slid off into the neighbors yard.

So, how is it in your neck of the woods?

Green grass up here in Canada!
I'm jealous though, I want some more snow.

Its not done here. It supposed to avg out to be an inch per hour here to a final build up of 16 inches before its done. Tomorrow is supposedly clear skies and then Sunday, it happens again.

It hass been a while since we had snow like this and I do miss it. It reminds me of my childhood on base in Germany.

This, it was pretty warm yesterday something around 15°C.

Today was like -2°C and the grass had frost

Saw it in the OP immediately after returning to the thread lol.

As long as it stays steady east I'm cool with that. My farmers almanac has promised me a wet (but rainy wet) winter...so far, it seems to be correct. I don't mind the cold, but I can't stand the snow. It could be -15 here every day for 6 months for all I care, as long as it doesn't snow.

We got hit with a long ice storm last night. So now it looks like this outside (not my photo):

It's unfortunately layers of ice so there's no way in heck I'm driving in that.
