Since Dark Fall is on steam for 13.58, I am tempted to buy it. Was wondering if I should give this game a try or if its a waste of time? Be as brutally honest as you want.
Well the game is huge and offers alot of options to the player in terms of skills and shit, would be interesting with back up but as a solo outting i personally cannot recommend it.
I need my dried frog pills.
only reason i pass was because of the combat mechanics the sword swing is so odd
If you played 1.0 pass, however people who didn't experience how amazing 1.0 was sometimes like unholy wars so you might enjoy it, you really just have to give it a shot i guess and join a clan asap.
I personally would say pass and avoid it like the plague but that's coming from an extremely disgruntled Darkfall 1 fanboy who absolutely despises the game.
Here's a gameplay video from MMOHUT themselves. Credits to you guys. Perhaps this could help you decide.

that is not darkfall unholy wars idk what that is but it looks 1000000000 better than the pos that unholy wars is. Its basically craft wars (unholy wars) just craft stuff go die craft stuff go die. Idc about full loot that's fine, but the whole system in unholy wars is shit I played it at release so maybe it's changed. If you are soloing it I can't see it being fun at all. Only way you might enjoy it is if you find a good active guild that will group up 24/7. The game is pure misery alone and the combat is just odd. The idea of it is fantastic just not my cup of tea I'd say MAYBE trying it for your self is the only way to really get an answer.
Im debating on playing it, i love darkfall but Unholy wars is def not better then darkfall 1.0 but its still darkfall and it was prolly my favorite open world pvp game besides lineage 2.
Im actually gonna buy the game right now just to have something to play till everquest next landmark
EDIT: If you bought it hmu ill play with u

When I saw the combat I thought it was kinda odd too.
