    The Mortal Instruments

    I can't recall what other movies I've watched in 2013, but I just watched this one yesterday and it was pretty amazing. I was expecting it to be poop, but I was so wrong. You know a movie is good when there are legit badass scary parts, and it's not even meant to be a scary movie.

    The Great Gatsby was fantastic
    I don't think I watched a lot of movies this year.
    Things I did watch though:
    Sliver lining playbook
    Big wedding
    Amazing spiderman
    Frozen
    Insidious
    and.
    A bunch of Futurama movies
    the dark knight returns

    Yes, it's a pretty brilliant movie. It embraces and subverts all of the most trash modern aesthetics and makes a really brilliant satire on today's society.

    Other stuff I adore from the movie is the use of those vivid colors and it has one of the best heist scenes I've seen.
