Anchorage is the closest city to where I live (150 miles from Anchorage by small aircraft out to the bush village where I live, no roads) So they got it right on.
I live in Tennessee. The dialect test puts me a little to to the north north/west.
I'm just glad I don't have the TN accent, every one tells me I sound like a game show host.

Most of the US (minus the southern accents) and Canada (minus the french accents I suppose) are just quirks of pronunciation rather than a characterizing accent. I know "accent" is subjective, but I mean the subtle differences. Like "aboot" in Canadia. That doesn't qualify as an accent IMO.
