Default Anyone find that large monitors usually detracts from gaming?

So I been using a 19 inch monitor and then recently switch to a 25 inch monitor.

The 19 inch monitor was far more enjoyable for gaming since I didn't have to keep moving my neck like I have to when using the 25 inch monitor.

The 25 inch monitor is great for web browsing and watching movies, but in terms of gaming it didn't really do a good job at ergonomics.

Smaller screens do make it easier to get a full-view of the game without having to constantly shift eyes and/or neck. I'm perfectly happy with my 19" monitor, which has an actual 16 inches of screen. Unless you intend to be really far away from your monitor, I wouldn't invest in one much larger than 20 inches.

I have 2 24" and a 22". I never considered them detracting from gaming. You just need to get used to it.

I play on my 39" Super slim tv for my monitor. It mounted on the wall right in front of where I sit on my bed. Works perfect for me. I prefer to have a larger screen. Play on 1920x1080 resolution.

That was on Plasma and LCD screens way in the beginning. It's very hard to get image burn nowadays.

When I used to play CoD on Xbox I always felt my performance was better on my smaller tube-box TV than on my 50" HD plasma screen.

I used to play MapleStory on a 56 inch TV. So useful.

Some games allow you to change zoom/field of view/perspective.
When switching monitor sizes you may need to adjust this.

    I dont... Even...
There is zero difference between a small monitor at close or a large monitor far away.
Adjust the resolution. Monitors are completely customizable and distance from your eyes means it's not your eyes that are the problem. Change the resolution.

If we are talking about computers then I am perfectly fine with 15,6" on my laptop.
But sometimes I like to connect my laptop with my 42" TV and just blast something with a controller.

I just upgraded my tv from 32 inches to 50, and it was definitely difficult in the beginning, but I'm getting used to it now. Not being able to focus on everything at once does make it a little bit more difficult, but I'm sure I'll adapt.

It looked horrible. I only did it so my brother wouldn't be able to use the TV.

It's all about getting used to it. It's like buying new shoes, your older are more comfy, but after you get used to the new ones, you'll prefer those over your old ones any day.

Four PCs bro! And I have a table that extends 210° degrees around me with a swivel chair so that I can rotate to all three monitors, and then the fourth one is placed in front of my fapping location.

Maybe you just have to be at the right distance from it.
