for those who haven't played any of those games, you should check out the War of the Lions version of FF Tactics. don't bother checking out the original, because the translation was really really bad. It's basically an extremely well written sort of Game of Thrones-esque (though obviously it was written before Game of Thrones. I just use the comparison because you all know Game of Thrones) story set in a Final Fantasy world, with challenging tactical jrpg combat, permadeath and character customization. Probably the best story in any Final Fantasy game (as long as you're playing with the War of the Lions translation obv)

or if you don't own a psp, there's a "mod" out there that adds the War of the Lions translation to a rom of the original psx ff tactics. that's how i played it.

I probably will. Vagrant Story was awesome and really needed a sequel or spiritual successor but I also love tactical games. I'm curious to see what will be next.

Quick stupid question for ya. I didn't wanna make my own thread...if you back a project and it doesn't hit its goal, are you refunded? I know you're s.o.l. if the project straight up fails to ever happen if they get fully funded, but what about if they're short of the goal?

I ask cause I'm about to drop $60 on something that has 2 weeks and $4000 left. I don't wanna be boned out of $60 if they can't make the money in time. Thanks, sorry for my ignorance.

if it's not funded, you get yr money back. that's why kickstarter doesn't allow you to use paypal, since paypal doesn't support tentative payments.

I'd donate, but I'm not donating anything till I've seen some gameplay vids. Anyone can make a bunch of text look good... well except for Ronin, Phonoca and Jin-Roh. They make me want to kill myself with those walls of useless text....
