    Bootleg copies should work as well as normal copies. Until the tests come back without error I wouldn't rule out hardware issues. You could switch out the hdds already.

    60 degrees C doesn't seem that high to me such that it would cause reboots and blue screens. Unless the thermal paste was insulating the thermal couples of your CPU.

    Ok... So, I noticed one of my RAM sticks was getting really hot during the BIOS menu.
    I removed the hot stick. Re-installed my legit copy of windows 7.

    OS is running currently and CPU temp has normalized.

    I am really hoping that's the end of it.
    If everything goes well i'll do a final reply after running it a day or so and call Corsair about replacing a faulty stick.

    You should still do a test with memtest and post the results here.
    On nights like tonight when no one's around, I turn off the lights, and I float off the ground.
