Mobs do try to move away from you if they have a reason to. But they won't blindly run away if it will hurt them in some way. Dodge is needed if you require range to attack and lock is how tanks will keep mobs in place so they don't go after others. Anywho, IGN?

Also there are many skills in the game designed(more or less) to break a lock without you needing to do a dodge. These are your knockback and teleportation skills. The drawback is you have to waste a portion of your ap for that turn to do this. Some classes like scarier or pandawa can reposition allies or enemies so that allies dont have to waste ap during their turn to avoid a lock.

Lock's the stat that tanks want to stop ennemies from going away from them to attack their allies (that way tank can ''melee lock'' some type of monsters), there is no ''aggro'' in this game.
(some enemies even try to move at the start of their turn and lose it)

I would not pay much attention to lock unless you're some kind a tank

Some monsters though have the ability with spells to push you back or move themselves (so they ignore lock)

Dodge is simply the opposite stat, negating your enemy's lock so that you can run away easier if you ever have to, or switch target.

Been playing a few days and over lvl 30 now. Here are some things I learned/advice for others:
    Storage
alt+h to go into your haven bag(cannot be use everywhere). inside your haven bag you have a chest to store items. craft or purchase extra inventory bags, they are useful.
    Restat
you get free restat at lvl 10 and lvl 30. Figure out what stats you really want to have before lvl 30 because once you hit 30 you will only have a few days to do the restat. As an example, I put most of my points into dodge and then realized I want to increase my range and add the rest of my points to intelligence for fire dmg. How you stat your character will make a big difference, so figure out what will best suit you before lvl 30.
    Gear
gear is very important. having a set gives you extra buffs. find a set that suits your character and also find sets/gear for your sidekicks that suits them. for those who are fire dmg specced characters; go to mount zinit with a friend or two after you reach lvl 25 and get the gear set from the first part of the mountain.
    Fast XP/Leveling
A fast way to level up to 30 is get a friend or two and do dungeon runs in the Astrub Sewers, House of Trouble dungeon lvl 15. Use wisdom candy which drops a lot from the larva in the sewers. You will need clans keys to play this dungeon; they drop from piwis or else craft them from the clay that drops from piwis. Once you're somewhere in your 20s you can get around 60,000xp from the last fight in that dungeon.
    Battle Conditions
The first part of a fight is positioning. After positioning the fight begins and you will see 1 or more battle conditions appear in the upper-left of your screen. If you and your team fulfill them then you get wisdom and prospecting bonuses. that means more xp and loot at the end of the fight. wisdom=xp, prospecting=loot.

    Hope this will helpful.

By request of some guildies this is my WATER/EARTH enu build...if you want to go pure water just dont add drhellzerker and max phone a friend, then get 10 gelogy, then MAX treasure tracker(gives you+40 prospecting and 50% of your prospecting stat becomes damage so if you have 300pp you will get a 150% dmg boost)

On my earth/water build you can see i only maxed purge and rascalry skills on the water tree,Why is that? well i just make the dungeon boss drop bag, then i transform and turn into hulk and kill enemies =)

DONT JUDGE MY CHARACTER NAME I JUST NEED DEM DROPS

Think people are starting to quit. I've been on every day and I haven't seen that many on like I use to see.

i couldt keep playing the game its a great game and i love it, but it lost its charm in the later levels when you basicly have to triple client to make any kind of progress on your own.
it was a blast to play with you guys thanks.

dunno I haven't multiboxed yet, already pleveling 1 of my alts to 50 felt like such a chore. Yet I still hit 3 digits while playing casually, I'm always alt-tabbed doing something else inbetween fights. However it did take me a while to hit that mark, about a month since I've downloaded this game?

But grouping and playing with others definitely makes the game a lot more enjoyable. So far mostly all the foreigners I've come across were friendly, even the ones that get butthurt and pvp me when I steal their crops.

I agree with Apo, You're just being anti social if you can't find a party in high levels.

u should read that line over a few times and realise that everything is just wrong with it lol.
cant find a party, that means he is trying to find a party, so.. socializing. what is anti about that?

Because I've found a ton of people to party with, if I played alittle more I'm sure I would be level 100+ by now.

This game is extremely dependent on people being social, this was the first game I've actually walked up to people and asked.

If you wanna choose to multi-client instead of being social, meeting random new people. Then don't blame the game for not being easy.
