So it's not restricted to just the governor thing.

    Did you read the page?

    http://www.wakfu.com/en/mmorpg/membe...cribe-to-wakfu

Lots of restrictions, making it not worth it without paying. Unless it's the Asian version only? Would be dumb if that were the case.
Final Fantasy 14: Level 50 (ilvl 96) WHM, Level 50 (ilvl 90) BLM, Level 50 SCH, Level 50 SMN.
Guild Wars 2: (Ehmry Bay) 64 Ranger.
    Diablo 3: 70 Wizard, 60 Demon Hunter, 60 Witch Doctor, 65 Paragons.
    Wildstar: 37 Spell Slinger DPS.
    ArcheAge: 50 Gypsy.
Trove: On and off. 20 Candy Barb. 20 Neon Ninja. Have all classes.

They're playing on the Asian server (wakfu.asia) not the wakfu.com server. You can find the correct restrictions by clicking here.

The restrictions are: No access to politics feature, you don't get 15% bonus exp, 15% profession bonus, and the ability to contiously easy bread with one click (rather than having to click multiple times?)

So the difference between F2P and P2P is no access to the politics feature, plus you don't get any of the premium exp bonuses. The bread thing doesn't seem like it's a big deal, unless it's extremely annoying to eat bread or something?

Also, I downloaded the game and completed the tutorial. I'll probably get on tomorrow for a bit while traveling around in hazeron.

Oh nice, I'm downloading now. Will give it a try if I get bored of Rift, or am just in the mood for something else.

Does it have PvP aside from duels? Is it ALL in English? Am I missing anything by playing the Asian version? I don't mind subscribing to the US one if I like it, but if this is exactly the same there'd obviously be no point to it.

    Thanks for the link.

as far as i know we are all playing on the asia server. the game is 100% in English it's just on an Asian server. being on an asian server though unless u are over there u can sometimes hit lag but in reality all mmos have lag no matter where the server is. the game is a very niche game as a lot of people won't like the grid/turn based battles. the game also has a lot of character and never really takes it's self serious which is good. this is the only mmo i have ever just sank into and lost track of time cause of all the shit you can do.

As far as I've seen, it's all been fully translated into English. Of course, I've only done the tutorial and some quests in the starting/mercenary city. Can't comment on the PVP.

The game seems quite populated, so that's refreshing as I tend to play low-pop indie games. The combat is turn-based, which I've recently started to enjoy. Previously, I just couldn't stand it. I like the wide-array of classes, and I chose something that I think I wont run into to often (Sididas or w/e... the doll guys). And it's not just a bunch of generic classes, either. The stat system is something a bit new as well.

It seems like it should be a fun game to play, but only time will tell. Who do I talk to about joining the OnRPG guild?

i can add you whats your IGN? Sadida's aren't too popular cause they need some love to play as the dolls can get a bit setupy. i have a sadi as an alt right now. also every class has 3 element branches and lots of ways to build the classes(stats and skills) and there is so much equipment in the game.

Apoca is my IGN. Do I need to be a certain level or join a nation or anything to join a guild?

at level 10 you can choose a nation and any level as long as they are outside the tutorial can join the guild.

Have you guys seen the Feca revamp notes! My god they look amazing! I'm definitely rerolling my Eni to Feca once changes are implemented. I'm glad to see that the devs are finally getting the picture and scaling some % passives with lvl. Certain passives in the game that give % damage mean nothing endgame where each piece of gear can give 30%+ damage.

You can buy items in the auction house and sell in shop, and vice versa, correct?
Do you have to have a "good location" for your portable house, or can you put it basically anywhere and is there an understand "market" area?

Do you have to level significantly to use the features?

New to Wakfu, still looking for some friends and I'm a little lost at the moment, but I'm really enjoying it so far. Still can't decide between Air Osamoda, Fire Iop, Fire Masqueraider (But then again I'm partial to Sram, rogue, or Feca)

But anyways, would anyone like to send me their ign?

You can access the auction house from the beginning. The astrub auction listings are different from the nation auction listings and all the nation auction house listings are linked. Not many people use the astrub auction house so if you want to access the marketplace I recommend going to any of the nations. From astrub it's a brief walk east(Sufokia), north(Amakna), west(Bonta) or south(Brakmar). The nation auction house is in the main city.

You can go into your portable house everywhere in the world except dungeons. You can't go into the house if there is another house opened too close to you (around 4 or 5 tiles).

There is only the option to challenge players individually at the moment, with potential 6x6 if organized, but it's only for kicks, meaning you won't get rewarded for it with stuff like honor, etc. They were planning on implementing GvG sometime this year, I think? I'm not sure what the deal is with that, but I guess look forward to it.

I just looked at a video that said you can attack any player at any time but there are consequences, one being if someone kills you (as an outlaw) you go to jail. Then you can serve out your term, or you can escape. Bandits/Outlaws also have access to different gear, etc.

Is that for the American version only? If so I might have to get into that one because that sounds amazing, and 6 bucks a month is peanuts.

Anyone able to confirm what I saw? I'll edit with a video link (IGN totally safe).

No need to edit, just found it. God DAMN that sounds awesome.

I'm apparently so terrible at the game I can't even get past the final fight of the tutorial...Or the first fight you'd realistically get into if you skip the tutorial...Siiigh.

I am a very big proponent of the game, but let me just say it's really not as awesome as it sounds. Not many people actively participate and it's so unrewarding that you'll be hitting yourself over the head. Yes, if you attack players over and over again you'll become an outlaw, meaning anyone can attack you and gain honor by killing you. If someone kills you and you go to jail, it's quite mundane. It's been awhile since I've participated in PvP, but from what I recall you can just pay a minor fee and get out right away, or serve out, I think 20 minutes, and then go free.

As far as access to different gear, after gaining enough honor, which is maybe a few fights, you can obtain the guard costume, which gives you 20% extra damage in PvP. This may sound nice, but it doesn't apply to PvM and quite frankly, you'll want to use the equipment slot where the guard insignia goes for an emblem, which actually does affect PvM.

That being said, I'm not sure what type of PvP limitations there are on the Asian server.

Either way, I'd still say try the game out and see if it's your thing, but just know that PvP, unfortunately, is not a big part of the game right now. Having played the game on and off for years, I can say that you will run into the occasional PvP tournament hosted by a guild or group of people, but those are far and few between, and understandably so. This is mainly because they're so difficult to organize and maintain.

If you have any other questions let me know.

Still sounds awesome being able to attack anyone you'd like.

But anyway, is there at least dueling in the Asian one? And can someone give me a few pointers. It seems like there's no quests. Is it just grinding mobs? I don't mind if it is just wanna know. I do have one quest where I have to plant wabbits but I've already done like 30 of them and nothing says I'm finished.

Also can someone invite me to guild? I can't guarantee I'll be super active but I will play it as a secondary and maybe primary mmo in the future.

Also it didn't let me choose a class, is that a restriction or a tutorial thing? And is there healers? Are they good at dueling if thre are duels?

    Thanks in advanced!
