    Default MegaTen (Shin Megami Tensei Online) shut down

    Today, January, 29th, 2014, Marvelous USA has announced the end of its official service for BattleSpace, Pandora Saga: Age of Discord, and Shin Megami Tensei Imagine in North America, due to the closure of its PC Online department on February 28th, 2014.

    Heard about this awhile ago from a friend who still plays Megaten. It's a shame but not a surprise, all the games Atlus had been hosting have been dead as they can be, no real updates in months and barely any events.

    Money wise it's probably better off putting more into the single player RPGs of SMT.

    I enjoyed some of the aspects of imagine but it just didn't feel right in the end imho. Also I'm guessing this will be atlus' last attempt at making a online orientated SMT being that this is twice now that they haven't done well.

    Im not surprised to see it go but it is a bit sad. I could never really get into it but it had some unique ideas going for it.

    Didnt know Pandora saga was going too...I actually really enjoyed that game
