I guess I'll be going with the XL then. Thanks everyone. Also, about the buying used/pre-owned... is that an option to consider?

I'll be getting Pokemon + the latest Harvest Moon game(s) for it.

On a side note, I got a 32inch screen to put on my desk to play my PS3 while I'm at the comp.

For electronics I always buy new so you know it will have warranty and be in good condition. For games, you could just get used unless you REALLY want club Nintendo points.

I buy stuff used, but from a gaming community so I knkw everything is pristine. Games I generally buy used...and you'd be surprised how many of them still have club Nintendo points haha. I just hit platinum for this year.

Go for the XL i had all three and the XL looks amazing to me. The 2ds felt cheap and seemed like a hastle to carry around. I rarely used the 3D i just like the screen size

Yeah, so if you buy it now, make sure you wait until March to register on Club Nintendo for the free game. Event begins on March 1st, new systems only. So buy now --> wait March --> register game + system --> free pokemon!
