    Default The homebody club

Anyone else here a homebody? (Duby need not to answer)

I mean, I have a social life. Friends, and I'm far from anti social. It's just over the years I've grown to be a lot less adventurous. There are days I get out when I feel the need to, but other than that I prefer being at home.

    What about you guys?
We talked about love and what life could really be for me. When that sh-..is real you just know.

Pretty much. I can go outside and whatsoever when I want, but I get less annoyed by staying home.

As a person with fairly severe anxiety problems I tend to stay at home most of the time. It's just an easier place for me to relax and have fun then trying to play the game of will freak out or not in a public situation.

Ehhh. It really can go either way with me. I don't stay in because I prefer it necessarily, I just don't really ever have much to do anymore.

I work at home... therefore I am a homebody.

Yes. Although I still have to get out at least twice a day for a walk or a jog because I start to feel disgusting and dirty by staying inside for long periods of time.

Yeah straight up I'm a homebody. I don't even need to leave my house to **** anymore. My girl takes two buses here, and stays the weekend.

I don't understand why everyone is expected to be extroverted; Like staying inside is so bad. Like you cannot have fun unless you're being a loud mouth.

    I don't believe in that.

    Depends, I guess!

Some days I just want to stay in. Other times I really want to get out and about. It really depends on my company and what's going on in my life. If my life is being super stressful, e.g. right now, then I'm nagging and texting friends looking for something to go out and do. If life is going great, I'm content to be a homebody.

Reading: You Just Don't Understand!: Women and Men in Conversations by Deborah Tannen (50%)
Last read: A Child Named "It" by Dave Pelzer (NOT BAD), A Dance With Dragons by GRRM (4.5/5), A Wizard of Earthsea by Ursula K. Le Guin (3.5/5)

Interested in why I picked these books, or want to recommend me some more? Just pm me. I love books.

I never had a sibling, so I spent most of my younger years solo. By the time I was a teenager, I had friends that more or less just lived here and I always had some company. Then I had an ex who moved in and lived with me for a while. Now days my friends are all scattered about and everyone is busy with work and school and life and I'm stuck solo. It gets lonely as shit sometimes...but we all work and do stuff opposite hours of eachother.

Growing up is the worst thing you'll ever do.
