Default 9 Dragons must be an incredible mmo, any experiences to share?

So I was trying out gamescampus's version of 9 Dragons, read the wiki a bit, and it struck me that this is an incredible mmo. It has RvR (me being an RvR fan) so it must be good !

But actually, im worried it is pay to win and i read that it is not quite finished with 3 of the 9 clans not really done. Either way, i love the gfx and the art and overall story styles. It is like stepping into a totally different world.

Anyone have any experiences with 9Dragons to share? I also like the mmohut review and the comments following it.

We shared our opinions on it in that thread which spawned your fascination.
Why don't you just download and try the game yourself?

Clearly by the title of this thread, you've already sold yourself, and you know a new server just released.

P2W complainers are just the people who fall behind the crowd, and need something to complain about. If you were enjoying yourself a lot, you would want to support the game. That's what people do when they like something, they put money on it.

Just try the game and make your own decisions.

Oh the memories of searching for a program to afk train buffs exp weekends when servers were full , standing in towns just buffing chatting , running into walls to train lightfoot or farming mobs 9 Dragons was one of the 1st mmorpgs that got me hooked , back when acclaim was running it , but now it just seems like they ressurect it for less than a year then it dies again till some other company picks it up....

9dragons was a phenominal game many years ago, provided you liked suepr grind heavy games. The training of skills / mob killing is up there with any super grind heavy asian mmo you ever encountered. I grinded in this game for a ridiculous amount of time eventualy only grinding during the exp events which thankfully were quite often back in the day atleast 2-3 a week but outside of events killing 5 mobs to get .01% just hurt to much to do lol

Outside of the crazy grinding which really is the heart of the game you train your char.. the PvP was hilarious and open world between any1 except your own race / guild. It was super broken healers were total trash in pvp but best grinders eventualy they got seals but still the pvp was very broken but fun as hell and totally level based but was some good times.

Get a guild / students / as many friends as you can as the grinding is quite mindless having peopel to pm and chat with helps lol compared to whats on the market now I wouldnt play 9d but it did bring me like 7 months of fun or so way back when.

Now I wait for Teso but GL to you I hope it has people playing without people playing grinding and pvping this game will die liek it did eventualy before for players.

I had a lvl48 Brotherhood of Thieves hybrid class back in 2008 with the company that couldn't decide if 9D should go f2p or p2p and just closed it...

    Good memories.

I played many years ago. Back then it was great. If you love old kung fu movies and actually know the difference between styles or the concept of different kung fu styles, then play this right now. It isn't the best MMO, but the many different kung fu animations that unlock through out the game are just insanely awesome. You'll want to keep playing just to see what moves you unlock next.

If this game didn't have the unlocking of a ton of fancy kung fu movies however, I wouldn't even remember this game in all honesty. Character creation sucks, quests are okay actually, everything else is meh. It's just non-stop fighting and the other run of the mill stuff you'd find. There's training and such, but it's not like it's a feature or anything.
