I actually wrote an early look for Swordsman Online. I also have a 2-hour long gameplay video on my youtube channel.
Just finished reading it. I personally don't mind linear progression. I'd take linear progression over a sandbox game without focus any day. The majority of MMOs these days are about endgame content anyway and in that case I'd rather get to it without as little hassle or money spending as possible. Great to hear about the combat though, which was one of my concerns. Some videos had point and click and others had crosshairs so I wasn't entirely sure what was going on. Including both seems like a good idea since the only reason I didn't enjoy Age of Wushu was the tab targeting combat.
In any case I'm just really excited to see another modern Wuxia game in the market.
