Default The Cabin in the Woods

I've been putting off watching this for quite some time, because I initially thought it would just be some dumb "cabin in the woods" horror because of the name.

I finally gave it a chance last night after seeing a trailer for it. Now I regret not having watched it sooner.

Anyways, anyone know of any other forms of fiction with a similar backstory as this film?

I thought it was a mediocre movie for mediocre people.

Reading: Kafka on the Shore by Haruki Murakami
Last read: You Just Don't Understand!: Women and Men in Conversations by Deborah Tannen (A MUST READ), A Child Named "It" by Dave Pelzer (NOT BAD), A Dance With Dragons by GRRM (4.5/5)

Interested in why I picked these books, or want to recommend me some more? Just pm me. I love books.

Yeah, it's not what it initially appears to be. At first you'll think it's a typical crappy horror movie. Then you'll think it's one of those comedy-horrors. And then, eventually, you'll realize what it's really about.

It's got a neat idea and it's well done for what it is, but it's not nearly the incredible, mind-blowing masterpiece people tell you it is.

I didn't know it was possible to go on the internet in the past 2 years and not have the plot of Cabin in the Woods spoiled for you.
