Default Is it too late to buy a 3DS?

Or is there going to be a newer version coming out soon?

I got a 3DS XL. And they just released the 2DS not THAT long ago. I think you're fine tbh.

Does it even matter? Heck, if you would buy a snes, because you like the games on it, then buy one. It's the same with a 3ds.

It is not too late. The good games just started coming out to the system over the past year. Now it is the high point of the system.

I don't foresee a new Nintendo handheld for 4-5 years yet. Probably coinciding with their next home console release. My call.

Go for it! I don't think it's too late. Smash 4 is coming out for 3DS this summer, so you still have time. c:

No my friend, it is too soon to buy one.

Well aren't newer version of DS's backward compatible with older versions?

A Snes can't play games on the PS2 and vice versa. But a DS lite can play GBA games.

Even if a snes was backward compatible, it wouldn't be able to play ps2 games And no, a DS can't play gba games, cause their cartridge is different. A DS uses a SD card, while a gba uses a cartridge...
