Default MMO with PvP fights that don't end in seconds

Soo I'm pretty annoyed how most endgame PvP action revolves in people killing other people in 30 seconds or less. Is there an MMO where the endgame pvp actually lasts longer, I want to fight someone for few minutes to actually feel like there was a fight and not just burst spam of abilities resulting in a kill.

yup, consider 2 types of mmos :-

    1) DAOC-styled combat mmos. 3 factions, pvp built around freezes and stuns. These would be mmos like DAOC, Champions of Regnum and Aika Online. Im not sure if Aion's pvp is the same.

    2) Look at hardcore medieval combat mmos: Mount & Blade, War of the Roses and Chivalry.

If u look at videos of pvp for the above, each duel can last a long time provided it is between capable players.
Be warned - I am a major player of Regnum Online the mmo. I've been playing it for about 2 years and rarely go without logging in at least once a day. You can also look at good alternatives to Regnum such ase Aion online and Aika Online.

Bloodline Champions is a MOBA and it has healers.

This is very, VERY VERY important. I'm one of the "Few" that aren't capable, no matter how many times I try, or how long I train... I still can't get it down.

Only plays Burst Magic DPS Classes and Healers.
    Playing MMO: FFXIV (Ragnarok)
Waiting On: EverQuest Next, FFXV, KH3 Saving For: An Epic Computer / PS Vita

If you are looking for a MMO with epic battles. Heated, action packed battles that go back and forth between skilled opponents for several minutes. Battles that would be at home in DragonBall Z... Well, I have got news for you. Doesn't exist.

I would love an MMO that played like a combination of Devil May Cry, Mortal Kombat, with a taste of Fairy Tale and DragonBall Z.
I've looked for it... in every country. From Afghanistan to Zimbabwe. It just doesn't exist!

    Edit:
I have played "Mount & Blade and War of the Roses." Great idea but poorly executed. Long fights tend to involve a huge amount of walking in circles and taking quick shots at each other. Gets a bit boring.
Also there are several annoying things like getting 1 hit by the shaft of a pole arm.

Too sad those games you are looking for are usually in Asian countries, I think there's a Dragonball Online before.

Well I thought as much, my mission is futile I guess people love the feeling of power that 1 shoting others gives them or something xD

I tried War of Roses and got raped heavily, the learning curve is a little bit too steep I don't need DBZ epic fights, I would settle with fights that are standard for most MMOs just lasting longer, with bigger HP pools and players doing less dmg to each other.

oohh.. i think what you are referring to is how hard it can be just to survive/do well in pvp mmos?

yea, pvp mmos are really tough. whichever one i try, i always know that i will spend my first few weeks dying horribly/viciously to other players. i even remember my very first pvp fight in neverwinter nights 1. everyone was gathered on one server for pvp fighting and chatting and trying out builds. and i turned up having fought lots of pve monsters and i thought i had made a pretty good build. I died in a few seconds to the enemy player. he laughed and walked away =.=' I was so butthurt, but i sort of swallowed my pride and laughed weakly (my heart was pounding away). i was lucky about 1 year later to find serious pvp guys who helped introduce me to pvp. They were the core group that went on to build the pvp in games like L2 and gw1.

nowadays i treat pvp like speed chess and try to be calm and think rationally through what i did wrong/right. i try to be imaginative, but i also try to accept that i cannot blame myself for losing if i have done my best. and just pick myself up and try again. sometimes i don't succeed - like i dont think i will ever be good with Aphrodite in Smite - it takes too much reflex shooting and im not a reflex shooter type.

but i still enjoy the wild ups and downs of pvp. The amazing victories and heartbreaking defeats.... try not to take losing too hard and just enjoy the puzzle of the game maybe...

I'll try to remember that while remembering my time in open world PVP in Perfect World, where mages would one-shot newbies in quest hubs four or five times each before they stopped. Or the fact in Loong, there were high levels camping the entrances to the starting city... and just ganking everyone who ran by. How about Iris Online's open pvp areas, where bots would camp the area transition points. Due to how far away you respawned, you would not be able to run back through said area transition before the bot killed you again. (Yeah, respawns = area transitions in Iris.) Or how about AIKA, where the website didn't tell you that non-citizens could open pvp citizens (and vice versa.) But, if you are attacked, you first have to switch to PK mode before you can attack back. Really strange that one was since you could be PK'd even if your PVP Mode was off.

I've just had way too many bad experiences with open world pvp. I'd prefer not to experience it again, ever.
