    Ok, I was very skeptical at first but after trying the demo I actually like it a lot. Especially the Arcade mode.

    EDIT: It has a controller support. Now I like it even more.

    The developers are great. I was watching the game for a long time. They posted WEEKLY updates on their blog! What other developer was ever this communicative?

    Bosses are no joke. The first "real" boss fight is pretty good.

    Huh, this is kind of fun so far. I admit I didn't expect much but so far the demo has been entertaining. Is there any plans for stuff at endgame? This game seems like it would end up falling into the same trap as Diablo eventually, grind for loot to kill mobs to grind for loot to kill mobs to...etc.

    ive beat him and im at the pumpkin fields trying to help a witch to make a candy potion to dispell the illusion field that makes me loop the maps , cant leave the area until i finish that quest >.< .

    Ye it should have been a mmorpg would have been better but atleast it has online coop.

    The story mode is really bare bones right now, if even that. I like how pets work and the Arena has good potential. But so far Arcade mode is really the "big cheese" right now.

    Apparently on their forums they said they have an arena but will not focus on balancing for pvp at all

    Bought it because I've always been interested in the concept, but I'm kinda expecting it to just flop, as a lot of these early access things do.

    I'd say it's an amazing game, if you'd pay 15 bucks for a Secret of Mana game then you might as well get this. I'll get it for sure. :-)

    grindea = grind area?
    Not sure about the "area" part, I thought the idea was more "Let's combine Secret of Mana with MMORPG grind for prolonged Secret of Mana enjoyment".

    3-4 hours and I finally got to Pumpkin Forest in Arcade Mode.

    EDIT: If it's what I think it is with Arcade mode and gradual development of things then kudos to developers with the idea because it's really neat.

    It's easy. What created the confusion, at least for me, was the fact that they didn't mention that you have to land back on the arrow pads. You can't exit your "phase form" anyhwere else but the arrow pads. So in order to get to the chest you have to align things in a way that the last bounce is aimed towards the arrow pad.

    Patch 0.56h

    Summary: You know how I said the Stable release wouldn't be updated for a while? Well, I lied! This patch contains mostly bug fixes that hopefully won't introduce new bugs. If it does, I'll rollback the stable version to 0.56g again. Some more promised bug fixes, that are less critical, will come in a patch later today or tomorrow (this patch will target Frontline though).

    Additions
    The server will now attempt to retrieve and display its external IP while in the lobby

    Changes
    The chat box is no longer offensive when someone tries to connect to a dead host

    Bug Fixes
    • Changing style at the stylist while in 4 player co-op no longer crashes the server
    • Frosty Friend now remains knocked down if you phase shift or jump, allowing you to revive him
    • You should no longer run into unclearable rooms in Arcade Mode (with enemies missing)
    • Players now revive properly after defeating the boss of the first temple
    • Actions such as fishing and using phase plates as a client with gamepad no longer causes the server to think they're shielding
    • Smashing a Guardian that's firing its laser with the smash skill should no longer crash the game
    • Lag can no longer cause the host to miss getting the wooden sword in Startington
    • Berserker spell instances now gets destroyed properly upon disconnect (this prevents crash upon reconnect)
    • Butterflies from the Butterfly trinket no longer stay up after their owner disconnects (this prevents crash upon reconnect)
    • The alchemist has gotten an HP buff of 500 % to catch up with the changes to damage
    • You can no longer run behind the guard in the Arena waiting room

    Only plays Magic DPS Classes, Healers and Machinist/Engineers.
