So far it really isn't a hindrance. Seems to be more in place to prevent botting/farming.
Granted I'm still a new character, perhaps taming a single big creature later takes 40 energy a go, which could prove to be annoying.(again though, not there yet so who knows)
Edit: Also the community seems pretty friendly and helpful overall+the site has listing for all items and the like. There is a wiki but they haven't updated it yet to english.

Spiral Knights had that whole mist system until a little while back. I have a feeling they'll remove the energy system completely in time to come. To the OP, please also provide a non-referral link aside your referral link.

Only plays Magic DPS Classes, Healers and Machinist/Engineers.
    Playing MMO: FFXIV (Balmung)
Waiting On: FFXV, KH3, Tree of Savior, RE:FFVII Saving For: New Computer

In therion saga I doubt it, as you regain it by resting and one of the goals is to have your house and eventually join a guild(and their town) where you'll gain each resting period.
Like currently it takes my character 2.5 hours to regain 100 energy, but something like 9 to use it all.
(and you can que up up to 4 actions without the item shop, so hunt stag x 41, rest x10, cut up 41 stag, rest x10) is one example.

That sounds phenomenal. How are you enjoying it so far?

I'm enjoying it a fair amount, you start off being active on the character but after the beginning area and once you have your skills beyond their starting point(can prospect and forge copper for example) you can start just setting up a 12 hour que for your character.

Also, you can make multiple accounts and if you decide to support the game by buying a crossing(what allows you to make multiple characters) they'll merge your accounts for you.

The point of the crossing is so that characters can share your cash shop benefits, like being able to que 8 things, have multiple weapons at the ready, etc.

You can fully enjoy the game without the cash shop, but it certainly does provide some QoL help(such as the additional weapon slots)

Multiple accounts is interesting, but having 10 accounts que up menial tasks such as digging for copper deposits every 7 hours seems rather cheap, no?

I have 2 characters(so 2 accounts) myself, i don't think having more would really be worth it. One handles fauna, the other metals. Eventually they'll branch out to the other skill sets. So this way I cut down a lot of time on my faun guy(don't have to try and get blades for crafting) and my metal girl just simply makes a ton of money so w.e lol.

Thank you, you bring up some valid points. I'll keep at it and see how it goes.

Most certainly, and if you do end up getting upgrades in the shop and want both characters to share them, as I said earlier they'll merge your accounts for you once you buy a crossing, so no worries there.

Can this be done for multiple accounts? Also, does the vertical integration aspect affect the economy in any way? If you're able to gather everything on your own, then what is the point of the market?

The amount of time, gear, and companions it would take to master every skill, even with 2 characters, would be an awful lot.

Every time you promote a crap browser game...I die a little inside.
