    Default Why bother playing MOBA's?

I think it's a reasonable question since it's endless cycle of repetition. Why not play Star Craft 1 rather if you want a temporary fun, action, repetitive game.

Star Craft 1 is the mother of all action, repetitive games since it required the highest skill cap I can think of.

I don't play MOBAs, because I am not a fan of PVP, so I avoid any games that are PVP-based.

It's always funny how sc players bash on mobas because they receive more attention despite requiring less 'skill'

Pretty much this. You can bash a game all you want but at the end of the day it's all about people's tastes. Why else would franchises like CoD still exist today?

I agree with this question lol. MOBA's look awful. I would never spend time on one. I can't see the appeal and I never will. I ALSO think games like Starcraft and Diablo are meh though. Haha i'll just stick to my "Traditional" mmorpgs...

Farm minions, gank lanes, snowball until you win. That's MOBA in a nutshell. Once I realized this I realized MOBA games are not my cup o' tea.

I actually believe that sc 1 is much better than sc 2 in multiple levels same with other MOBA. SC 1 have balance, map creation allows variety of game type's and it have some of the most time consuming and simple strategy custom games out there (Mass Attack, learn the weakness of each character and strategize on commanding that huge army = hours of fun time). sc 2 have so many maps that focus on LoL or nexus war like games that it's just repetitive.

People are satisfied by winning and MOBAs provides a constant stream of that kind of satisfaction.

you get a different combination of teammates and enemies making ever match different in the way you approach , every champion 119 in league can be played in a number of different ways from masteries , runes , builds and strategies , also team combos . league in particular has a ton of skillshots that are fun to dodge plus the challenge of hitting with skillshots , the game is very balance and you always have something new to learn and to improve.
The champions are extremely diverse not only in design but in play style there is so many interesting abilities is even fun to play against some champions just to avoid getting hit by them .
unlike a grindy mmorpg where you change in level but the game stay the same just spamming abilities today most MMO dont even require that much attention to play them .
