    Default PSO2 Anyone?

Phantasy Star Online 2 recently went into open beta but it is a sea version unfortunately playpark is hosting it.

    http://pso2.playpark.com/en/

Signing up and then applying for early access allows for people to play today but i am having issues with the download and wanted to know if anyone else was and if they found a way to get around it. It doesn't seem to be IP blocked the download just seems to be not working but the community managers are no help and none of the other players have a solution.

singapore and most sea companies either "don't know how to ip block / region block" ingame and resort with blocking people from downloading it, maybe this is one of those cases? cherrycredits.com does the same thing except there are mirrors uploaded by other players to get around that

they did say it would be ip blocked tho, multiple times
although i cant find details of it anymore and the official facebook page of pso2 make it sound its open for everyone
    https://www.facebook.com/PSO2.EN

maybe they changed their ip block policy?

edit: nvm, theres a post stating.
Yes, the game is available for the following regions : Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia and Philippines. - CM R

Yea they say they IP block and the community managers keep telling the people that are trying to download it that they may be IP blocked but they still have yet to provide a list of regions that are blocked and i have played playpark games before and i live in the US so i'm still unsure.

Thanks for the info seya, I wish they would have that somewhere on their website since some of their games aren't IP blocked for americans its very misleading.

Probably better off playing on the JP servers, still a large english player base. Haven't tried the SEA version but apprently it's rather far behind in content and the translation is terrible compared to the english patch.

This is exactly what i was thinking which is why i didn't even bother to mention the possibility to use VPNs because the JP servers don't even have IP block.

Not sure of everything that differen't but i think costumes are bind on equip for SEA , dunno about everything else. But the english patch for the JP version translates everything pretty much.
Either way if you decide to go with the Japanese version Most of the english players are on ship2: Ur , Useful sites-

Thanks for sharing. I was able to set up an account following the guide and I'm downloading it right now.
The hiragana part almost killed me but I got trough it.
