Default Only MOBAs have competitive pvp?

    I hate playing MOBAs.
I hate losing a game because of my teammates' fault.
    But I love the competition.
    It's just....
I want to play a competitive pvp game based only on my skills, not on my ability to cooperate with others.
But I can't find a game like this.

    inb4 StarCraft II

Why would you go back to LoL if you don't want a game that's based on ability to cooperate with others?

Def SC2 . I'd still be playing the fk out of it if I didn't have wrist problems.

Otherwise an actual alternative which may or may not fit your style, my other favorite competitive game Dungeon Fighter! The current alpha ends on June 13 and won't fully release for maybe 2-3 months, but when it does you could consider it an option. So long as you get a character to at least lvl 20 or so (varies depending on game version) you can enter the fair arena where everyone has the same equipment and level and duke it out in skillbased fighter-style combat with tons of different classes and sub-classes. The mechanics are deep and very rewarding to the better player.

SC2, Fighting games(EVO/Tournament worthy ones), or any sport in real life.

Like stated before, the fighting game scene is really competitive. I'm just to lazy to learn the mechanics or else I would be playing fighting games. Best thing about it is, your wins are based purely on your skill alone. Not on a team.
    Relax and enjoy life
