    Default Top Ten Bible Verses

    http://www.ship-of-fools.com/feature...e_results.html

Why do they sound so familiar? Oh right! Because thanks to morals and a little something called "political correctness" we have yet more examples of why the Bible is f***ed up. Though I'm sure neo-christians edited these parts out.

Anyways, these are amusing because it reveals more hypocrisy in Christianity.

Ya, even the most hardcore atheist who actually has an understanding of Christian theology and how interpreting the bible works will tell you that that article is total BS. The author takes all of these quotes out of context without any examination of what scholars' interpretations of these verses are.

You mean an article on the internet won't undo thousands of years of religious belief? Surely after the millions of Christians read this they will see the error of their ways!

follow up content-post: as a non-religious person myself, i can't stand richard dawkinsian atheists like you. richard dawkins is nothing but a bullying, ignorant self-righteous piece of shit who's just as dogamtic and intolerant of others as many of the religious people he loves to hate, and the same goes for his mindless followers

Does it matter? Attack someones core beliefs and they will run circles defending it. "that's not what it means" " this is not meant to be taken literally, but this is". Only the individual with the beleif can change it, regardless of what you want to throw at them.

it probably gets really cold up there at night. a blanky might not be enough.

but then again there's a flame keeping the balloon up. that might keep you warm. i dunno.
