So I stumbled upon this game the yesterday while a bit bored. Basically, it's one of those "barcode scanner monster collector" games from the 90's. You scan a barcode from any random product in your house and then you either get a Codemon, a healing item, a spell, or an aura. Pretty simple.

Other than that, there's arena battling using the Codemon, the store where you can buy/sell the stuff you collect from barcodes, and there's also some other thing where you can combine certain Codemon into some sort of "original" or ancient or somesuch. Don't really know.

Pretty simple game, but the way the combat works allows you to set up arena challenges and then go do whatever else and then come back to see if your Codemon got challenged by another player and if you lost or won. So it's a decent time waster when you can't get to the computer or have nothing better to do.

Plus, if you were a kid in the 90's or early 2000's, you'll get a bit of nostalgia. Oh, and you get to look like a idiot going through your pantry to scan everything. That's a bonus, in my book.
