Default What are the most forgettable states in the country? (U.S.)

I vote Wyoming. I know there are some states that just don't get much attention in media or something, but it just occurred to me, with the exception of today, I have almost never heard of Wyoming. I didn't even remember it existed.

I'm not one of those people who can remember all 50 states, but I kind of feel like that's part of what I'm getting at. The closest I've ever come to acknowledging it's existence, is that when I look at the weather channel, I notice that it's the only state in the entire country shaped like a perfectly boring square, but I never knew it's name until today when they were talking about the weather in Wyoming on this new weather channel channel my dad got on Roku.
I liked it more when I was Samus'es girdle.

Definitely not California, New York, or Florida.

Mostly the cold ones in the northeast like Maine, Delaware, etc.

I think the most forgettable are in the central area of the map. Just about every time I see a map that shows locations of populaces or activity for <insert random activity here>, etc., it's usually the middle of the map with the least indicators of activity.

Montana, N. and S. Dakota, Wyoming, Idaho, Utah, Colorado, Oregon, Nebraska, Maryland, Delaware, Vermont, New Hampshire, and Massachusetts are probably the top states most people forget exist.

Insert pseudo-philosophical quote here (and don't forget the italics): Be careful of how you misrepresent others, tomorrow or today, for the misrepresentation you now speak, may become the poison your enemies later seek; truth.

Only like two of the states you listed are near the center of the U.S though.
