    Default Warlords of Dreanor

I just pre-purchased a digital upgrade to Warlords of Dreanor for my WoW account. (Boosted a Blood Elf Paladin to 90 on Kil'Jaeden)

    Features:
    - New continent of Draenor (7 zones, 1 PvP zone)
    - Build and upgrade your Garrison
    - A level 90 character boost
    - New player character models
    - 7 new Dungeons and 2 new Raids
    - A Heroic version of Upper Blackrock Spire
    - New World Bosses
    - New Challenge modes
    - New Battlegrounds
    - New Scenarios
    - Level cap raised to 100
    - New class talents and permanent ability bonuses
    - Major changes to stats
    - Refined quest system with hundreds of new quests
    - and MORE!?

I don't think it will revitalize WoW to 12,000,000 players or anything but I think it will be a ton of fun for a few months.
Anyone else going to buy it?

I don't know, I tried going back around November and it felt really dated compared to other MMOs I was playing at the time.
If I get bored of FFXIV and there hasn't been any new MMO launched by the time it's out then I might for at least a month

I started playing the game just over a month ago, after avoiding it for nearly ten years, because my girlfriend wanted me to try it out. I absolutely adore it. yuniuninuniun mentioned that it feels dated. I really agree with that. But for me, it's dated in the right way. It feels like an oldschool RPG and it has a certain charm to it that's indescribable. That's based off of the graphics, however. The combat mechanics are actually far beyond a lot of modern-day MMOs -- unless you're trying to compare it to action-based combat, which would hold zero bearing, in my opinion.

Warlords of Draenor is looking like an amazing expansion, for new and old players alike. I'm looking forward to the updated models and some of the various skill changes (and removals). It certainly won't be bringing back millions of players, but I have a feeling it'll make its mark.

Was about to prepurchase for level 90 boost. It said I needed Mist of Pandaria. Guess I'll just finished Vani to Cata first.

    elvUI is gross.

lol, everyone does the same - buy it, play it for about a month, realize end-game is nothing but dailies, this new trashy keep system and piss poor raiding outside of heroic raids.

I'm going to be buying it too. Playing it right now and having a lot of fun. Hope this continues for a while so I can keep playing it along with Dota 2.

While it may be old, it doesn't feel outdated at all due to its polish. The graphics have their own style so they don't begin to look worse over time.

Nah, leveling is just a hassle, once you've seen the content, seeing it again won't add to the experience.
