Why does no1 play Rakion anymore?
Outside of it being hacking glitch fest prone to lag?
Last I checked, which was about a year ago, the North American servers were incredibly laggy unless you had an Excellent connection/lived inside the server. If your ms was even slightly above 100 your attacks were only 80% accurate 100% of the time. That really killed the game for me.
But then there was also if you didn't have atleast $100 on your character for all the most recent cash shop items.. because let's face it if you didn't have good gear no one wants you on your team, or a level over ~50, you were kicked from all the matches because you were basically worthless to your team.
I loved that game when it first came out, and there was a lot of good in it, but now it's just a massive ball of shit. Softnyx is a terrible company.
I remember the game in it's early days. Honestly, it surprises me that it's still around with such a small community. In fact, it surprises me SoftNyx is even around. Let it go already Softnyx, let someone better host it.
Games I currently play:
Waiting for: Overwatch, Maplestory 2, and Rakion 2.
It still saddens me thinking about the game. There was a private server that started the exact same was the actual live server but eventually the game's own shitty security led to an even bigger hacker problem that the actual server had to the point that the owner just straight up shut it down. Hopefully the second game gets an english server and an actual good publisher.
in case people missed it
Rakion is one of the most laggy games that I've ever played.
I've tried to play it after I quit as well and it got even worse than before.
Also, would appear that softnyx is hosting Rakion: Return of Heroes.
Though the game could be cool, it will probably be a disaster...
Wasn't the basic game imbalanced with strong P2W elements and a side of hackers courtesy of Olive Garden?
yep, it wasnt always like that though. 2006-2008ish rakion was great.
Currently playing :Grand Fantasia(yet again...)
**** Rakion. **** Ijji. **** that game.
