Was my first ever mmorpg (played it in open beta for a year or so until it went full. Then not long from then I began paying for it and played it for many years).
Though now I can no longer find enjoyment in it since I played it so much...and now compared to the other mmorpgs...which have showed that a mmorpg doesn't have to be endless grinding on the same mob...it's definiately not worth playing again for me...but that doesn't mean it's not my favorite.
Played Seal Online TW too...got like several characters to high levels but I quit after as I got bored of the grind.
Trying Perfect World now and it's a great game... Doesn't look that good from the screenshots tho and was skeptical about it until I've downloaded it recently.
Gfx (Looks awesome even at low settings) - 9.5/10
Movement (Very fluid and much like WoW) - 8/10
Gameplay (Fun characters w/ many unique features) - 8/10
Quests (Plentiful w/ different reward choices) - 7/10
PvE (Exp gain is rather slow vs. equal leveled mobs) - 6.5/10
PvP (Heard there'll be two opposing factions, but only available to players above 70 or so)
well for me its cs 1.6 and wolfestein enemy territory but both are FPS games...
but my favourite mmorpgs are Voyage Century , Biosfear , Guild Wars and WoW...
but when I was like 12-15 years old my favourite was runescape =D
Even though I quit, Flyff. I got to level 55 and then the grind was so horrible for Mercs without an assist that I just gave up. All my friends from school play and I still can't get back into it. I played it for a good 6 months though... a new record. o_o;; No mmorpgs ever keep my interest for long, so many drama queens and so little gameplay, yet it's still my favorite genre. >_>
FFXI hands down, it actually had a storyline, you could change jobs at any time (providing you were in your moghouse) and your lvls would stay the same, maps were lovely, and the music was beautiful (Sanctuary of Zi'tah anyone?)
Right now, Voyage Century. I am playing MapleStory a little, but then again, I have only had this computer for a few days. So I have been playing VCO for a few days and love it, and I have played MS before, and it is a time-filler, in some cases...
So, right now, VCO. I used to play RYL, but that was for about a day, then my old computer couldn't handle it and it crashed... I want to play it SO BADELY, but Vista has got in my way. This computer could totally play it on high, but Vista won't cooperate with GameGuard... =[ Why can't they just get along?
Yeah... So, currently VCO, old favorite RYL1, and I am looking for another game to play, aswell. I would so play RYL if I could...
