Game Description: Phantasm Souls is a whole new take on the 2D MMORPG genre. A splinter formed due to the excess of player worlds games, or player worlds-alike games, sparked the as of yet unseen use of active-time battles in the game. The focus is strong 4 person party playing, following an in-depth storyline and changing the world as you do so. This means a greater depth of play, whilst maintaining an overall community feel. The game is obviously player versus monster founded, but parties can challenge other parties to a duel to test their skills
This game is still in it's Beta stages, and features are constantly being packed in before the big release in April/May time 2004. However, small sessions are constantly run for those who would like to see the game in it's current stages, and the forums are already very active. On top of this, the game is 100% free and always will be, there will never be a monthly charge, or an "uncap your character" charge.
Constant updates, one at least every Friday, keep the fanbase informed of all the progress being made, and this truly is an epic and new formula for free MMORP gaming all round.
