Here are guidelines for the roleplaying forums
1. No double posting
2. No flaming out of character. Your character can insult another character in their speech, but no casual insults out of chacter
3. Profanity is allowed, but there are restrictions to keep it artful. First off, the member that posts the thread must get permission from a moderator and include reasoning for the profanity to be allowed. Second, the member that posts the thread must indicate that there is to be profanity in the thread in the subject line. Third, the member that posts the thread must state that they wish profanity to be used for profanity to be allowed in that thread, and any restrictions that they wish to impose must be followed. Fourth, the F-word is not to be used on any circumstances. Finally, any profanity with a sexual meaning must be used in a general context, never in a sexual one (e. g., a character can call another character a dickhead, but cannot use the profanity to tauntingly tell an opponent to "suck dick").
4. While flaming in character is allowed, there are certain restrictions. Flaming cannot be discriminitory towards any real-world race, religion, philosophy, gender, or sexual preference.
5. You are not all powerful
6. A main character cannot be killed unless they allow it
7. Once dead, a character cannot come back within the same thread
8. Npcs are never as powerful as full members, and are considered to be weaker than the weakest active character in the thread
9. You may not control another character without their express permission for ANY reason
10. No more than one character is to be controlled within any givin post with a max of 2 main characters per thread
11. No more then 3-5 NPC per member per thread. 4-5 must be with express moderator permission
12. Stories where you are to add just the next sentence, just 5 words, etc. are no longer permitted
13. No general discussion about RPs or anything else. Only RPs themselves are permitted, everything else is to be posted in General or another appropriate board
14. Short stories, chapters, novellas, poetry, etc are to be posted in general, not in RP
15. Read all announcements and stickies before posting and check often for updates. They are there to help you become better RPers.

Please PM Slyyger if you wish to create a thread which goes against any of these regulations. Occasional threads will be permitted to run outside of certain guidlines. PM Slyyger if you wish to request such a thread and do not create it until you recieve permission.
Please include in the PM:
-The rule(s) you wish to by-pass in the thread
-A basic outline of the storyline/plot you wish to create
-Reason(s) for by-passing the rule; if a thread can be created using all rules, it is best to do so
This requirement extends to ANYONE who wishes to post in the RP section!.
