When logging in for the first time, the game lets you select one of 8 factions. Each faction has its own town design with a unique set of racial units to choose from, and each of these units have their own tactical styles, thus spicing up combat quite nicely.
Heroes of Might and Magic Online (Writer's note: I'll call the game heroes online from this point on) is the MMO spin-off of the turn-based fantasy-themed franchise, Heroes of Might and Magic. For those who are unfamiliar with the franchise, the game's premise is that you're a hero of a certain race, and through your strategic prowess both in military and economic management of your kingdom you eventually become the leader feared by all.
China-based online game publisher, TQ Digital, have recently announced a new chapter of the classic strategy game, Heroes of Might and Magic! The special edition in the Asian Region started on May 7th!
TQ Digital have confirmed that their anticipated MMO, Heroes of Might and Magic Online, licensed by renowned publishers Ubisoft, will be entering it's Asia area closed beta on May 7th.
Licensed by Ubisoft and developed by established China-based online games developer, TQ Digital, Heroes of Might and Magic Online (HoMM Online) weaves all the classic gameplay elements from a previous iteration of the franchise, Heroes of Might and Magic III, with the stunning updated graphics of Heroes of Might and Magic V, into a turn-based massively multiplayer version worthy of its place in the esteemed Heroes of Might and Magic dynasty.
